Forest Hill Farmhouse, a fast-growing salad and bowl restaurant chain, is preparing for its next phase of expansion following the launch of five Toronto locations since its debut in late 2022.

The company’s upcoming expansion plans include additional Toronto outposts targeted for 2026, though specific neighborhoods have not yet been confirmed, according to BlogTO. Suburban markets under consideration include Oakville, Vaughan, and Aurora, while potential international locations include New York, Florida, Chicago, and London. The brand is considering cities that mirror Toronto’s demand for accessible, health-forward dining.

Founded by Blair Bitove, Forest Hill Farmhouse opened its first location in Midtown Toronto at 2 Lola Road in December 2022. Since then, it has added storefronts in Liberty Village, Leslieville, The PATH, and Parkdale. The company’s steady growth has been primarily fueled by social media exposure and word of mouth, rather than traditional marketing efforts.

The concept blends quick-service convenience with elements of full-service hospitality. Guests can order in-store or for pickup, with a menu that emphasizes nutrient-dense, customizable options. Forest Hill Farmhouse also offers catering services for large groups, featuring pre-set bundles that include some of the brand’s top-selling dishes.

Signature menu items include salads such as the Forest Hill, Coulson Cobb, Casa Loma, and Dunloe Date, as well as bowls like the Shawarma Chicken Bowl, Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, and Miso Salmon Bowl. Wraps mirror many of the salad and bowl options and include popular picks, such as the Crispy Buffalo Beltline Wrap and Farmhouse Caesar Wrap.

Additional offerings include cold-pressed juices from Toronto-based Greenhouse Juice, house-made dressings, and a selection of branded merchandise. The restaurant continually expands its menu seasonally, featuring rotating ingredients and introducing new items throughout the year.
