Jack Le Coq is preparing to open another restaurant in Quebec, with construction already underway at an undisclosed location. The company shared a photograph of the project on its official Facebook page on November 5, 2026, announcing that work on another restaurant was progressing. The post shows exterior signage bearing the brand’s name and the words “Bientôt ouvert” (Coming Soon), but does not identify the city, street address, or expected opening date.
Founded by Jacques Gaspo, Jack Le Coq specializes in fried and grilled chicken. According to the company’s website, Gaspo, who also co-founded the Foodtastic restaurant group, developed the concept with partners Rachid Badouri and Lino Lozza. The group describes the brand as a 100% Quebec-based restaurant concept that supports local businesses and suppliers.
The menu includes several chicken preparations, including fried chicken pieces, tenders and wings. Customers can also order fried chicken sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and poutines. Other options include Caesar salad, family-sized meals and side dishes.
According to the company’s website, the restaurant also offers desserts and beverages, including milkshakes and its signature Jack Slush Rose. The menu includes different combinations and portion sizes, with options for individual orders and family meals.
Jack Le Coq’s concept accommodates dine-in customers as well as takeout and delivery orders. The company also emphasizes preparing its food on-site and sourcing Quebec products. Its restaurants use equipment selected with attention to food preparation and environmental considerations, according to the brand.
The latest construction announcement indicates that another restaurant is in development, although Jack Le Coq has not yet disclosed where the new location will be or when it expects to open.
