“The oven’s been off, but we haven’t!” says a post published on Instagram by Guerrilla Pizza, the Detroit-born, Vegas-based pizza concept from Robby Cunningham, a few months back. At the time, the brand was searching for a likely location in Downtown Las Vegas to launch a new brick-and-mortar restaurant.
“It’s been quiet around here, but it wouldn’t be fair to settle on anything less than the best downtown location for our upcoming restaurant,” the post continues. “Rest assured, we are working on securing just that.”
And now, we can break the news: the location has been found. According to licensing paperwork submitted to the City of Las Vegas, Guerrilla Pizza Company looks to be making its Las Vegas comeback at 900 S Las Vegas Blvd, Suite 120.
What Now last caught up with Guerrilla Pizza found Robby Cunningham in September of 2022, when the restaurateur was at work taking over Hard Hat Lounge (out of whose kitchen Guerrilla Pizza also operated for a time). The Hard Hat Lounge is still going strong at 1675 S Industrial Road.
What Now confirmed news of the opening with Cunningham on Wednesday. Cunningham said the restaurant is working with the goal of a November 1 launch, but it’s still too early to share further details. More info is expected soon.
