Nearly three years ago, What Now reported on plans for food truck concept Sista Kim’s Kitchen to open its first brick-and-mortar location. The opening came to pass, and the restaurant is still active at 900 Liberace Ave, Suite d112. How the time flies though! After three years, the restaurant is preparing to expand to a second location.
“We hear y’all… and we’re expanding!” says a post published to Instagram by the restaurant. “Sista Kim’s Kitchen is bringing our soulful flavors to a second location—coming soon to you!”
The only question is, where?
As it happens, this week, What now came across licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County by AABG Services LLC for a new Sista Kim’s Kitchen, opening at 2570 E Tropicana Ave, Suite 7-8. This appears to be the second location in question.
What Now reached out on Friday to owner David Jones to ask about plans for the expansion. Jones was not immediately available for comment on the news.
“Get ready for more crispy fried chicken, creamy mac & cheese, and all the comfort you crave—now in two spots to serve you better,” the post says. We’re ready now!
