Texas Roadhouse, the national restaurant chain known for its hand-cut steaks and made-from-scratch sides, is preparing to open two new locations in Los Angeles County. One will be located at 25740 The Old Road in Valencia, and the other at the southeast corner of Lancaster Boulevard and the Antelope Valley Freeway in Lancaster.

The Valencia restaurant is set to move into the former Claim Jumper space in the Valencia Marketplace shopping center, according to public records. While no official opening date has been announced, both locations are in early planning stages based on recent liquor license applications. When open, guests can expect Texas Roadhouse’s signature menu of steaks, ribs, hearty entrees, and fresh-baked bread.

This will mark the brand’s first entry into the greater Los Angeles market. Currently, the closest Texas Roadhouse locations in California are in Fresno, Visalia, Modesto, Turlock, and Bakersfield. The move into Valencia and Lancaster reflects the brand’s broader growth strategy across Southern California suburbs with strong family demographics and highway visibility.

Founded in 1993 in Clarksville, Indiana, Texas Roadhouse has expanded to over 600 locations nationwide. Known for its casual atmosphere and Western-themed interiors, the chain has built a reputation on serving high-quality food at a strong value. The company remains focused on delivering what it calls “Legendary Food, Legendary Service.”

The menu features a range of steak cuts, including ribeyes, sirloins, and filets, as well as fall-off-the-bone ribs, country-style entrees, chicken specialties, and a variety of seafood options. Restaurants also offer a full bar featuring margaritas, draft beer, and signature cocktails, along with popular sides such as seasoned rice, buttered corn, and loaded mashed potatoes.

These new locations underscore Texas Roadhouse’s confidence in the Los Angeles market. Both sites are located in high-visibility areas with regional shopping traffic and strong demand for approachable, family-oriented dining options.
