Bootlegger’s Brewery, LLC has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. The case was filed on October 15 under the docket number 8:25-bk-12907.

Bootlegger’s Brewery in Fullerton Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection

Based in Fullerton, Bootlegger’s Brewery brews and distributes craft beers across Southern and Central California, earning a following for its creative flavor profiles and community-focused taproom.

The firm filed for Chapter 11 Subchapter V bankruptcy on October 15, 2025, with a filing fee of $1,738. It included a corporate resolution authorizing the petition.

According to PacerMonitor, the company’s estimated assets range from $100,001 to $500,000. The liabilities have been registered between $1,000,001 and $10 million. The company has 50-99 creditors.  On October 16, 2025, Mark M. Sharf was appointed as the Subchapter V Trustee by the U.S. Trustee.

The brewery is required to submit its Small Business Subchapter V Plan by January 13, 2026, as part of the bankruptcy proceedings.
