Jacksonville-based roofing and building contractor Turnkey Roofing of Florida, Inc. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The move comes as the company faces mounting debts.
Turnkey Roofing of Florida, Inc. Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy
According to Pacer, Turnkey Roofing of Florida, Inc. made a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing on November 10. The latest petition by the Florida-based licensed contractor was voluntarily filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Court records (case number 3:25-bk-04128) show the company filed under Subchapter V, a streamlined version of Chapter 11 designed for smaller businesses. This version of Chapter 11 allows the company to reorganize more quickly and affordably.
Proceedings So Far
On Monday, November 10, the Florida-based roofing and building contractor initiated the Chapter 11 filing through a Subchapter V process. Turnkey Roofing of Florida, Inc. plans to readjust its debts while continuing to operate. At the time, the company had not yet filed key documents, including financial schedules, lists of assets and debts, and attorney fee disclosures.
Attorney Thomas C. Adam from Adam Law Group, P.A., is offering legal representation to the Florida company in this case, PacerMonitor states.
The case details, as shared by PacerMonitor, further mandate that Turnkey Roofing of Florida, Inc. must submit the Chapter 11 plan by February 8, 2026. The court will use the plan to review how the company intends to repay creditors and continue operations.
Attorney Thomas C. Adam, on behalf of Turnkey Roofing of Florida, Inc., filed a Statement of Corporate Ownership on November 10. The filing provided the court with a summary of the company’s owners and parent companies.
For more than 50 years, the Jacksonville-based company has provided residential and commercial roofing services, including emergency repairs, gutter replacement, and storm damage restoration. Some of these services are emergency roofing, roof repair, gutter replacement, and storm damage repair.
The coming months will be critical as Turnkey Roofing submits its reorganization plan outlining how it will repay creditors and stay in business.
