West Palm Beach will soon welcome a new Caribbean restaurant into its restaurant community. Plan review paperwork submitted by The Souse House of the Palm Beaches, LLC shows a restaurant by the same name (Souse House of the Palm Beaches) opening at 1510 N Sapodilla Ave.

Behind the new restaurant is owner Sean Burgman. What Now reached out to Burgman on Wednesday to ask about plans for the Souse House. Burgman was not immediately available for comment.

That leaves many of the details on the opening unknown for now. However, for those unfamiliar, souse is “pickled meat and trimmings usually made from pig’s feet, chicken feet or cow’s tongue, to name a few parts. The cooked meat or trimmings are cut into bite-sized pieces and soaked in a brine made of water, lime juice, cucumbers, hot pepper, salt and specially prepared seasonings.”

Sounds like an adventure to us!

Stay tuned for more details on the Souse House as they become available.
