Savvy Memphis foodies are always on the lookout for a fresh dining experience. Local stomachs rumbling for something new should take heart; a brand-new concept called Jerusalem Kabob and Cafe is coming to the neighborhood and is moving steadily through the permitting process.

The restaurant will be laying down roots at 4202 Hacks Cross Road. Paperwork filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development shows that Jerusalem Kabob and Cafe will occupy a 6,283 square foot storefront. It is listed as having an occupancy load of 100.

Jerusalem Kabob is currently something of a mystery on the Memphis restaurant scene. There isn’t a great deal of information available about the restaurant, however the certificate of occupancy is in review, as of November 21, suggesting more details may become available shortly. What Now Memphis has reached out to ownership and will update readers as information becomes available.
