A Wellesley café is expanding to Boston’s waterfront.

Jejes Coffee Roasters is planning to open a second location at 50 Harbor St in the Seaport District, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. A representative for the business confirmed the expansion with What Now Boston, though construction delays mean the projected opening isn’t expected until sometime in 2027.

Founded in 2020 by Soonhee “Sunny” Ka and her husband Duse Lee, Jejes was created with a mission to “provide specialty coffee tailored to everyone’s needs and tastes and to make coffee drinking about the experience rather than the caffeine content.” The first storefront, which opened in the western suburbs of Boston in the spring of 2023, combines modern design with classic coffeehouse touches.

While details are still emerging, the Seaport café is expected to mirror the original location’s menu lineup, which features a full range of in-house espresso and pour-over coffee, matcha, tea, hot chocolate, ice cream, and fresh baked goods.

Menu highlights include classics like the Flat White and Cappuccino, alongside inventive offerings such as the Sweet Potato Latte and Berryade, a refreshing, soda-like drink made of sparkling water and organic fruit.

Stay tuned for updates as Jejes Coffee Roasters brings its signature drinks and treats to the Seaport.
