Snarf’s Sandwiches is preparing to open a new location, in the east corner of Denver at 7155 East Hampden Avenue. The upcoming shop is listed on its website as “coming soon”, however, a timeframe for the project’s completion is unknown.

Plans call for the renovation of an existing space, including demolition of current walls, finishes, and accessory items, to create a new floor plan tailored for Snarf’s. It will occupy approximately 6,371 square feet of space and is designed for a total occupancy of 40 people, planning documents show.

Chord Design Studio is serving as the architect on the project, with Portis Structural Design handling structural engineering, and Proficient Engineers responsible for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Construction is expected to begin in mid-January and wrap up by mid-April. Bids were due last month.

Snarf’s Sandwiches was founded by Jimmy Seidel in Boulder in 1996. Nearly 30 years later, the family-owned company has grown to almost 50 locations across Colorado, Missouri, and Texas. It’s known for its made-to-order sandwiches featuring premium meats and cheeses, fresh vegetables, and oven-toasted bread, along with salads,

soups, and desserts.
