Palestinian coffee spot Deir Cafe is planning its first expansion, according to a recent permit filing. It is seeking to open at 105 Haywood Lane in Antioch, taking over the La Princesa Market space.

Deir Cafe currently has one location open on Hagan Street. Helmed by owner Yousef Gumiza, the spot serves items such as the Baklawa Latte, the Golden Lotus Latte with biscoff and caramel, the Strawberry Dubai Chocolate Latte and the Banana Spice Latte. Many of the signature beverages include Mediterranean spices and flavors. There are also matcha drinks, smoothies, non-alcoholic beverages and pastries such as croissants.

“At Deir Cafe, we don’t just serve coffee — we serve memories, traditions and a taste you won’t find anywhere else in the world,” the Deir Cafe website states. “Our flavors are authentic, bold and deeply rooted in Palestinian heritage, crafted with passion and perfected over generations. Every sip is a connection to home, a reminder of the vibrant culture and unwavering spirit.”

As of now, further details on the expansion remain unclear. What Now Nashville has reached out for additional information.
