Founded by Todd Duplechan and Jessica Maher and located at 1807 First Street in Austin, Lenoir is a local restaurant, recognized by Michelin in 2025, serving up “the best of what Central Texas has to offer with spice, heat and robust flavor.” Its streamlined menu features dishes like Bulgogi Beef Tartare with apple kimchi, potato chips, and scallion; Street Corn Panisse with black lime Tajín, garlic aioli, and cotija; and a 10z Seared Picanha Steak with mojo de ajo, tangerine, roasted potato & sunchoke and fennel.
Now, Duplechan and Maher are taking things in a new direction with a sister restaurant opening just next door. Fittingly, it’s called Boni’s Bar Next Door, and according to coverage by the Austin American-Statesman, it will be serving “Spanish-style cocktails and tapas.”
The coverage continues: “There will also be beers on draft, cider, a small Spanish wine list and espresso, along with sports in the background because, ‘We’re fans,’ the owners said.”
What Now reached out to Todd Duplechan on Friday to ask about plans for the opening of Boni’ Bar Next Door and the details of the menu. Duplechan was not immediately available for comment.
We’re hoping for more information about Boni’s Bar Next Door’s upcoming menu soon!
