Yelp has released its 13th annual list of the Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S., spanning restaurants, food halls, diners, and fast-casual concepts. Highlighting New York’s presence on the national dining list, the much-loved Italian restaurant Ci Siamo claimed the top spot.
New York’s Ci Siamo Emerges as Yelp’s Top Restaurant for 2026
New York’s culinary scene continues to thrive, with Ci Siamo earning the title of the country’s top restaurant for 2026. The Hudson Yards Italian restaurant earned the distinction after ranking No. 1 on Yelp’s 2026 Top 100 U.S. Restaurants list.
Part of Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, Ci Siamo has earned more than 450 five-star reviews on Yelp.
Executive Chef Hillary Sterling leads the creation of dishes at the New York-based Italian restaurant. Rigatoni Alla Gricia, is Ci Siamo’s most-reviewed and bestselling dish on Yelp. One of the four classic Roman pasta dishes, Rigatoni Alla Gricia features pasta, cheese, black pepper, and guanciale.
The second most loved menu offering at Ci Siamo, as shown on Yelp, is the Cavatelli Olo Scoglio. This dish was inspired from a seafood item Chef Hillary enjoyed in Nerano, a fishing village near the Amalfi Coast.
Other popular dishes at the restaurant include the Stracci and the Pizza Bianca, according to Yelp.
Located in the Manhattan West development on the West Side, Ci Siamo is also known for its floor-to-ceiling windows, private bar, and sweeping views of the Empire State Building.
Besides Ci Siamo, other New York-based eating establishments that secured a place in the list are L’industrie Pizzeria, Charoen Krung Thai, Gurumé, and Da Andrea – Chelsea.

Yelp’s Methodology
According to Businesswire, Yelp’s rankings are based on the volume and ratings of customer reviews. Yelp also verified that each restaurant had a passing health inspection score as of November 6, 2025.
