Real estate investment manager Cityview and private equity real estate investment firm Stockbridge have completed Apollo, a new 265-unit multifamily community in Los Angeles’ South Bay. The project is designed to serve residents working near major employers, including SpaceX, the Tesla Design Center, and Ring.
Smart Tech, Designer Interiors Define Apollo Residences
The newly completed Apollo is located at 12888 Crenshaw Boulevard in Gardena and offers a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom floor plans. The interior finishes include luxury vinyl plank flooring, sleek quartz countertops, soft-close cabinetry, designer backsplashes, warm under-cabinet lighting, and gas ranges with Frozen Bake technology.
Each unit has a smart home system that includes keyless entry, smart lighting switches in select units, and smart thermostats. Some of these units offer options like private balconies, walk-in closets, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The community is well-connected and features Turnkey high-speed internet.
The eight-story property has a wide range of amenities like a resort-style pool and spa terrace with sweeping views and lounge seating. The al fresco dining area of the complex has an outdoor kitchen with a large seating area where guests can host gatherings or unwind with neighbors. Apollo also offers an outdoor game deck and indoor sports simulator, with virtual golf and interactive games.
It has a modern fitness center connected to an outdoor training deck. For residents who work hybrid or remotely, the community provides the CV Works coworking space with high-speed internet and tech-equipped workspaces.
Apollo Highlights Green Design with LEED Silver Goals
Apollo has a large-format digital display on one side of the building that runs a mix of community programming and full-motion ads. More community features include EV charging stations, controlled access parking, pet-friendly grounds, parcel room, and bike storage.
It also offers a wash station for pets. Residents can have easy access to the 91, 405, and 105 freeways. Apollo is within five miles of over 260,000 jobs and two blocks from the Metro Green Line. It is also close to the Los Angeles International Airport, the Intuit Dome, major dining and entertainment hubs, SoFi Stadium, and several popular Southern California beaches.
The project plans to secure LEED Silver certification and is stated to be 20-30% more efficient than other non-green buildings. Some of its sustainable features are a solar thermal water system, ultra-efficient low-flow water fixtures, high-efficiency windows, and HVAC and Energy Star-certified appliances.
Cityview and Stockbridge teamed up with Westport Construction, AC Martin, Nadia Geller Designs, and MJS Landscape Architecture on the project. With leasing now underway, the 265-unit project is positioned to serve residents seeking modern apartments close to major employers and transit links.
