While DFW foodies may be divided on whether their meat should be served rare or well-done, a popular chain plans to unite them all in a love of steak. Longhorn Steakhouse is bringing its signature cuisine to a new Tarrant County storefront according to paperwork filed with the state.
Mansfield diners will be able to enjoy the ribeye or tenderloin of their dreams in a new constructed restaurant at 610 N US 287. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that the building will span 5,780 square feet, with construction set to start on April 6 of this year. Work is set to wrap by December 14, suggesting locals may be able to enjoy a steak dinner by late 2026 or early 2027.
Longhorn Steakhouse has been serving customers since 1981. The chain, founded in Georgia, has spread to include 596 locations, primarily located in the US.
The DFW already has six Longhorn Steakhouse storefronts, however the brand’s enduring popularity suggests that a seventh will certainly be welcome with open arms and rumbling stomachs. While the menu, of course, prioritizes steaks, visitors can also choose from seafood options, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, and salads.
