A New York-based bakery and cafe is preparing to double its Dallas footprint following its triumphant Texas debut late last year. Maman, a chain dedicated to bringing the tastes and atmosphere of France stateside, has filed papers for a new DFW location, this one in the Casa Linda Plaza.

Dallas diners will be able to enjoy a taste of Paris at 1152 N Buckner Boulevard, Suite 124. Maman has filed paperwork with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, offering some general insights into the chain’s upcoming DFW location. The cafe will span 2,366 square feet.

Maman will be moving into a renovated Schlotzky’s space; the paperwork describes a relatively extensive buildout, including: “new walls, finishes, kitchen, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.”

Work will begin on Maman’s Casa Linda Plaza home this spring-April 5, to be precise. The restaurant is projected to be fully renovated by November 5, giving locals good cause to be optimistic that they will be able to say “bonjour” by the end of 2026.

Maman has been serving up cozy atmosphere and delicious treats since 2014. The cafe offers a wide range of soups, salads, sandwiches, and pastries.
