LoverBoy House Eats is embarking on sweetening up the Alamo City when it opens later this year. The new Box St. All Day concept is expected to open at 1118 E. Elmira Street, according to Culture Map.
The new concept is set to shake up The Pearl, which encountered a few closures at the end of last year. Details about when exactly LoverBoy House Eats will open are still up in the air. But a recently filed permit shows that construction on the new eatery is slated to start in March and wrap up in July 2026.
William Ryan Howard, Managing Director of Potluck, which is part of the developing group, Silver Ventures, is listed as the tenant on the permit. But partners Edward Garcia III, Caroline Garcia-Bowman, and Daniel Trevino are slated to run the new dining option coming to San Antonio this year.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the partners to try to garner more details about what you can expect from LoverBoy House Eats when it opens, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“Your place, but not. Morning coffee, approachable yet inventive food, a favorite vinyl, sipping cocktails with friends,” the brand’s new Instagram page reads.
LoverBoy House Eats does not yet have a huge online presence, with no website and no other social media besides the beginning of the new concept’s Instagram page.
But, it’s been reported that customers can expect to be offered morning coffee, leisurely lunch, and cocktails and vinyl in the evening.
LoverBoy House Eats is slated to open at 1118 E. Elmira Street this year.
