One of the oldest restaurants on Rodeo Drive is preparing for its farewell. After 35 years of operation, 208 Rodeo Restaurant is closing its doors, leaving a mark on one of Southern California’s busiest shopping and dining hubs.

Established in 1991 as a gourmet sandwich shop, 208 Rodeo Restaurant has evolved to be a full-line fine-dining destination. With seasonal menus and fresh takes on classic dishes, diners kept returning for new experiences.

The restaurant is situated in the Two Rodeo complex and has been a long-time dining place for both shoppers and visitors. It gained popularity over the years for its atmosphere, outdoor patio seating overlooking the cobblestone walkway, and its proximity to the high-end stores that characterize Rodeo Drive.

The restaurant announced it will shut down in March. The exact date of the closure was not mentioned, but the post read, “After 35 years, we are heartbroken to share that our restaurant will be closing this March.”
