The Belmont is closing its Los Angeles location later this month. The restaurant is known as a popular destination in Los Angeles’ nightlife scene. The news of its closure has left many longtime customers disappointed.

The Belmont Has Announced Its Closing

The Belmont is a restaurant and bar at 747 N. La Cienega Blvd., near the Los Angeles-West Hollywood border.

The restaurant announced its upcoming closure on social media. In the post, the owner invites longtime customers for a final night at the restaurant.

The post also lists the restaurant’s current hours. The Belmont will operate until 5 p.m. Saturday through Thursday and till 12 p.m. on Friday.

The restaurant has not shared the reason behind the decision. However, the closure brings an end to a 26-year-long chapter that residents will miss.

The Belmont offers a mix of American/New American and pub-style food, cocktails, beer, wine, brunch, and late-night drinks. The space is designed to function as a restaurant with a bar-and-lounge atmosphere. It also offers a private event space called Sidecar.
