Ferrazzani’s Pasta & Market, an Italian deli and market specializing in handcrafted pasta, sandwiches, and Italian-inspired goods, is getting ready to move to Altadena at 2082 Lincoln Ave.
The company, led by Leah and Neal Ferrazzani, recently submitted a liquor license application for the new location. Leah tells What Now Los Angeles that “We will be in our current location through the end of the year, and hopefully in 2082 Lincoln by January 2027.” The new shop will continue the brand’s lineup of fresh and dried pasta, deli sandwiches, prepared foods, Italian ice, and beer and wine.
Ferrazzani’s current location at 1976-1978 Lincoln Avenue in Pasadena has been part of the local community since 2017. The business continued serving customers through the COVID-19 pandemic and after the Eaton Fire, before expanding its concept in 2024 to become Ferrazzani’s Pasta & Market, according to the company. The Altadena move will allow the company to continue operating in the same general community where it has established its roots.
The business began in 2014 when Leah Ferrazzani launched Semolina Artisanal Pasta from her home kitchen. The dried pasta is made with American-grown organic semolina, extruded through bronze dies, and dried slowly at low temperatures. Over the years, the pasta was sold at Whole Foods, Bristol Farms, and independent markets, and served at Los Angeles restaurants including Hippo and Yang’s Kitchen.
The market’s deli is known for made-to-order sandwiches served on Bub & Grandma’s baguettes, with the Italian deli sandwich being one of its main offerings. The menu also includes fresh pasta, dried pasta, lasagna, sweets, biscotti, family packs, freezer items, refrigerated products, and house-made prepared foods. Ferrazzani’s also offers catering, nationwide shipping, and a Pasta Club featuring regional and specialty handmade pastas.
The new Altadena location will also continue the company’s beer and wine retail offerings, based on the recent liquor license application. This will be an excellent landing space for Ferrazzani’s Pasta & Market as the company continues serving the Pasadena and Altadena community while expanding its Italian-inspired market concept.
