The Kroger Co. is rolling out a new lineup of premium, ready-to-eat meals in stores nationwide. Kroger is expanding its Private Selection lineup with more than 20 globally inspired meal options. The new offerings will be sold exclusively at Kroger Family of Stores locations and online.

Kroger Adds Restaurant-Style Meals to Private Selection Line

One of the largest supermarket chains in the United States, The Kroger Co., was founded in 1883 in Cincinnati. It is widely known for its private-label brands, fresh food offerings, and broad selection of everyday essentials at competitive prices.

Kroger is expanding its Private Selection lineup with more than 20 new meal options. According to company executives, the expanded Private Selection line bridges the gap between premium taste and everyday convenience.

According to PRNewswire, Ann Reed, Group Vice President of Brands at Kroger, stated that the Private Selection line delivers a premium experience at an affordable price.

Some highlights from the new lineup include:

  • Private Selection Korean-Inspired Beef Bulgogi, featuring tender marinated beef with rich, Asian-style seasoning.
  • Ready-to-Cook Chicken Parmesan, made with crispy, panko-coated chicken and marinara sauce.
  • Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, a comforting Italian-style dish made with potato gnocchi and melted mozzarella.
  • Chinese-Inspired Mandarin Orange Chicken, combining tempura-style chicken with a sweet and tangy citrus sauce.
  • Classic Seasoned Whole Roasted Chicken, a juicy, fully cooked chicken seasoned with traditional spices and served hot, ready to enjoy.

New Line Available Only at Kroger Stores and Online

The new restaurant-style Private Selection products will be available exclusively at Kroger Family of Stores locations and through the company’s online platforms.

With more than 3,600 products — including limited-time seasonal items — Private Selection adds variety to everyday meals and gives classic snacks a fresh, modern twist.

Reed stated, “The meals provide exceptional value, allowing customers to enjoy exciting, flavorful dishes that are high quality and ready in minutes.”

These new ready-to-eat meals further expand Kroger’s growing Private Selection brand, which now includes salads, snacks, desserts, and fully cooked entrées.
