Patrizia’s, the New York-based restaurant serving Italian-American classics for a quarter of a century, is opening a restaurant on the waterfront in Hallandale Beach.
Patrizia’s Hallandale, LLC filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation for a restaurant located at 1975 S. Ocean Drive. Patrizia’s website and Instagram both confirm the news, with owner Emersom Insfran telling What Now Miami that finishing touches on construction are underway. The restaurant should be open spring 2026.
This will be the 18th location for Patrizia’s, which was founded by Giacomo and Gennaro Alaio. Born in Napoli, the brothers came to the U.S. as children to live in Brooklyn. They were brought up in the restaurant business, working after school at their father’s pizza shop and traveling to Napoli in the summers to work at a relative’s restaurant. The brothers’ love for Italian cuisine ran deep in their DNA and they decided to open the first Patrizia’s in 1991 in the Bronx. Today, their vision has grown with restaurant throughout New York, New Jersey, South Florida, and Aruba.
Patrizia’s menu offers classic Neapolitan items with elegant twists such as Nonna’s meatballs made with Wagyu beef, fettuccini Alfredo tossed in a parmesan wheel, and a spicy rigatoni vodka. Patrizia’s also serves pizzas and offers a bountiful family style meal for groups.
