Chili’s, the casual chain known for its menu of Tex-Mex-inspired dishes and American classics, is joining the growing roster of restaurants opening at Verrado Marketplace. According to Verrado’s site map, the classic family restaurant will be located between BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and Pacific Dental Services.
Scheduled to open later in the year, Verrado Marketplace is already buzzworthy. The center, located at 1435 N. Verrado Way in Buckeye, is attracting names like Target HomeGoods, Paris Baguette, Einstein Bros. Bagels, O.H.S.O. Brewery and Distillery, and immersive lounge, EMERSA. The center will offer guests 500,000 square feet of shopping, dining, and entertainment options with ample public space to include a performance stage, a large lawn area, fireplace, splash pad, and more.
Chili’s was founded in 1975 in Dallas, Texas, by Larry Levine, with Norman Brinker purchasing the chain in 1983. Today, parent company Brinker International owns and operates more than 1,600 locations. Chili’s attracts lifelong fans for its $6 margaritas, happy hour, and rewards programs. The restaurant is loved for its Tex-Mex favorites, baby back ribs, sizzling fajitas, and more. The restaurant stays relevant with new generations of diners with special promotions and activations such as its Marg of the Month which, last year, featured pink and green Wicked-themed cocktails.
