Daddy Shack, the golf and social club concept that launched in 2023 with a mobile golf simulator and has since expanded with a franchise mobile location in Louisiana, is preparing to launch a brick-and-mortar golf club.

This week, What Now came across a TDLR filing for Daddy Shack ATX at 1900 E Howard Lane, Unit D1 in Pflugerville. It’s an “interior renovation to accommodate new golf simulator project” that is expected to run from April 15 to August 28, at an estimated cost of $475,000.

“We are excited to be opening Daddy Shack® Golf Club in North Austin in Summer 2026!” the Daddy Shack website says. “As a member at Daddy Shack®, you’ll be apart of the Austin golf community while improving your game. At the club, you’ll have the ability to work, exercise, socialize and golf all under the same roof! Reach out now to become a founding member!”

Details on the food and drink side are still forthcoming. The website invites you to “Swing & Sip with Us!” so at the very least expect, when you’re not actively working on your game, a great spot to relax.

“Our Austin Golf club, with a spacious lounge, is the perfect spot to unwind between rounds or after a busy day,” the website says. “Enjoy time with fellow members, watch a tournament, or recharge at the comfort station stocked to keep the good times flowing.”

What Now reached out on Thursday to co-founder Parker Remig to ask about plans for the opening. Remig was not immediately available for comment. It has thus not yet been confirmed whether the Pflugerville site referred to in the TDLR filing is, in fact, the upcoming Daddy Shack Golf Club or a further development.
