A new food truck is preparing to hit the streets in Jacksonville. Headed up by Misty, its owner, it’s called Rise N Shine Food Truck, and as its name suggests, it’ll be offering some great foods to start your day (or to carry on with it!).
“We’re hoping to open on the 23rd,” Misty told What Now on Friday. “We’re going to be serving breakfast and brunch items, and burgers, things like that.”
Misty says she’s spent much of her life working in restaurants, building up the experience she’ll be bringing to the Rise N Shine project.
“I’ve worked in restaurants since I was fifteen. It’s about 30 years in restaurants and food service.”
And what led to the decision to go out on a limb and try something of your own? What Now asked.
At this question, Misty paused a moment before saying, with a laugh, “Well, I got tired of working so hard for everybody else!”
