The retail center on US-183 near the intersection with Seward Junction Loop looks to be adding a new pizza concept to its food and drink roster.

A recently submitted filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows Mackey’s Pizza, LLC working to open a new pizza shop at 719 US-183, Suite B250.

The filing describes plans to “transform a 915 sq ft space from a yoga studio into a pizzeria.” The construction, which is expected to start on April 6 and conclude on June 1, has an estimated price tag of $60,000.

Behind Mackey’s Pizza is owner Michael Williams. What Now reached out to Williams on Friday to ask about plans for the new pizzeria. Williams was not immediately available for comment.

Opening in the US-183 location, Mackey’s Pizza would join a restaurant community that also includes barbecue restaurant Smokey Mo’s BBQ and bar Happy Hour.

Stay tuned for more details as they become available!
