A  health-conscious chain is giving the DMV fast-casual dining scene a nutritious glow-up. Just Salad is getting ready to open a new location in DC’s East End, after making its District debut late last year.

The concept (which does, in fact, serve more than what the name would suggest) is opening at 1201 F Street NW. An opening timeline is not presently available, however the company website does say the location is “coming soon”.

Just Salad’s East End home is one of a few the brand currently has in development in DC. Storefronts in Friendship Heights and Foggy Bottom are also on the horizon. While locals wait for those eateries to open, they can stop into Just Salad’s location at 19th and M Street, which opened in September of last year.

Just Salad has been a powerful contender in the push for healthier fast-casual options. The chain was founded in 2008, with a modest but admirable goal- “offer healthy, affordable, climate-conscious meals that are irresistibly delicious.” The brand now has more than 100 locations open and continued growth in its future.

As readers might assume, Just Salad does indeed feature a wide range of salads. It also offers market plates, wraps, warm bowls, and smoothies, ensuring every hungry visitor finds a dish to satisfy their appetite.
