Zaxby’s the restaurant that serves chicken “fingerz”, wings, and sandwiches, is planning a Davenport location at 6027 U.S. 17-92 N Highway.

TikTok real estate account, @closewithmaritza, posted the news that Zaxby’s has broken ground, at the location, adjacent to an existing Publix. No opening date has been announced.

Zaxby’s is loved for its chicken-forward menu that includes chicken “fingerz”, wings, “zalads”, and sandwiches. Each Zaxby’s hand breads its chicken for a fresh taste. The restaurant allows guests to customize their meal with a choice of signature sauces that range from a creamy, smoky “Zax” sauce to the uber-spicy “Nuclear”.  The restaurant also sells loaded fries and family packs –perfect for busy people who want a satisfying value meal on the go.

Founded by Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley, the Atlanta-based company is committed to growing its footprint. The chain is expanding beyond its Southeast market into the West and Midwest, including new locations in Nevada, Arizona, and its first-ever NYC location in New York City.  It’s target is to own and operate 1,000 locations in the near future, and is looking into franchising new territories as it expands into other markets.
