Pacchioni’s Cheesesteaks & Pizza, a family-owned restaurant specializing in globally inspired cheesesteaks and creative pizzas, is getting ready to open its first brick-and-mortar location in Orlando’s College Park neighborhood at 2429 Edgewater Drive.

The restaurant will take over the former Pizza Bruno space, which will close after November 7, according to QSR Magazine. The approximately 1,500-square-foot restaurant is expected to reopen as Pacchioni’s by early December, although an exact opening date has not been announced. Founder Daniel Pacchioni is opening the restaurant with longtime friends and business partners Yeosh Bendayan and Jon Ruhff.

Pacchioni launched his food truck in February 2025, introducing a menu that combines traditional Philly-style cheesesteaks with flavors inspired by different parts of the world. The menu was developed in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Mike Collantes, known for Orlando restaurants including Soseki Modern Omakase and Sushi Saint.

Bendayan and Ruhff bring experience in marketing, branding, and business operations to the partnership. Their other ventures include Push Button Creative Audio, an audio branding company, and Southeast Chevy Parts, which serves the classic Chevrolet restoration community. Pizza Bruno owner Bruno Zacchini selected the group to take over the space and will provide input and mentorship as the new restaurant gets started.

Pacchioni said opening in College Park is particularly meaningful, as he and his family lived just two streets away for five years. He also expressed appreciation for Zacchini’s support and the opportunity to take over the former Pizza Bruno location.

“Opening our first brick-and-mortar restaurant is a dream come true, and doing it in College Park makes it even more special,” Pacchioni said in a news release. “We lived just two streets away for five years, so this really feels like coming home. The response to our food truck has been incredible, and we’re excited to build on that momentum and take our ideas even further. For us, this is about more than opening a restaurant. It’s about creating something meaningful with longtime friends, becoming part of a neighborhood we already love, and giving Orlando food lovers something new and unexpected. We’re especially honored to have Bruno’s blessing and thankful for all his support and mentorship and who knows, maybe there’s a few surprise collaborations in the near future. We can’t wait to share this next chapter with the community.”
