Pluckers Wing Bar is coming to Baytown! According to a recently filed permit, the beloved Texas wing brand is set to open at 6931 Garth Road.
The permit details that construction on the new Baytown Pluckers Wing Bar is slated to start in June and wrap up by the end of January 2027.
Sean Greensberg is the owner of the establishment, who has been discussing the lease agreement and construction with What Now Houston for the last couple of months. But when we recently reached out, we did not get a response or further details about the upcoming opening.
Pluckers Wing Bar was founded by Sean, his brother Mark, and pal Dave Paul at the University of Texas in 1995.
What began as a dorm-room dream to provide late-night wing delivery, after successful trials, resulted in the first location being opened on Austin’s West Campus. The brand grew from a small, independently-owned restaurant into a Texas powerhouse with more than 30 locations and national recognition.
“Pluckers was consistently recognized as the best sports bar and chicken wing restaurant in its market,” the Pluckers Wing Bar website reads.
“Even better, ESPN named Pluckers one of the ‘Top 5 Sports Bars in North America,’ and USA Today named us one of the ‘Top 10 Wing Restaurants in America.'”
Pluckers Wing Bar now operates in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, College Station, San Marcos, and Killen, with more than 30 Pluckers Wing Bar locations sprinkled throughout those areas and in parts of Louisiana. There are currently ten Pluckers Wing Bar locations in Houston, according to the website.
Beyond a variety of sauced-up and dry-rubbed bone-in and boneless wings, Pluckers Wing Bar also offers a slew of sandwiches, salads, burgers, sides, and desserts. The eateries also have an extensive bar menu.
Pluckers Wing Bar is anticipated to open in Baytown at 6931 Garth Road by early 2027.
