Hawaiian Restaurant Chain to Debut Its First Celina Location

Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food will officially open a new location in Celina on March 20. The new restaurant will bring Hawaiian-style barbecue to Celina. A soft-opening Friends & Ohana event for the restaurant will be hosted on March 19.

The restaurant is located at 3505 S Preston Road and will be the brand’s 12th location in Texas and 78th overall.

Mo’ Bettahs Opens New Celina Location with March 19 Soft Launch

Brothers Kimo and Kalani Mack founded Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food  in 2008. The restaurant specializes in traditional Hawaiian plate lunches, served in a casual setting.

Over nearly two decades, the restaurant has steadily grown its presence. It is now set to mark a new chapter with the opening of its Celina location on Friday, March 20.

Ahead of the official opening, the company will host a ‘Friends & Ohana’ soft-opening event on March 19. The event will include lunch service, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the evening.

The team behind the restaurant shared a social media post stating, “Aloha, Celina! We’re so excited to be opening in your backyard! Join us on March 19th for a ‘Friends and Ohana’ event filled with great company and delicious food!”

Guests attending the soft opening can expect a free mini plate and drink, along with samples of menu items such as spam Musubi.

Mo’Bettah’s new menu features dishes with authentic, bold island-inspired flavors with a touch of home-cooked comfort. Some of the signature dishes on the menu are teriyaki chicken, kalua pig, katsu chicken, rice, and macaroni salad.

One of the restaurant’s owners, Kimo Mack, shared that the restaurant’s main aim is to bring communities together with great flavors and Hawaiian hospitality.

He added, “Celina is a community that truly values ohana and creating memories with friends and family, and we’re excited to serve this neighborhood for years to come.”

The Celina location will offer dine-in and takeout options, along with the Makana Rewards program. Through the program, customers can earn points and receive perks, including a free mini plate after their first visit.

The new location in Celina, Texas, marks an exciting milestone for the Mo’ Bettahs journey. The restaurant will begin serving the community on March 20, following the soft opening on March 19.
