United Natural Foods, Inc. will lay off 443 employees as it closes its Sturtevant, Wisconsin, distribution facility. The layoffs are set to start in late June and continue through early August, according to a WARN notice.
UNFI Announces Mass Layoffs at Wisconsin Distribution Facility
United Natural Foods, Inc. will layoff 443 positions as it closes its Sturtevant facility at 3138 Highway H in Racine County.
The company will begin the job cuts during the 14-day period starting on June 20. It will continue through the 14-day period starting on August 1, 2026. Operations at the Sturtevant facility will stop once the process is complete, the firm said. The affected positions include:

As per the filing details, the employees affected by the layoff will get a 60-day notice before the termination. The notifications for the same will be delivered through email, hand delivery, or overnight mail, it said.
Some employees belong to General Teamsters Local Union No. 200, which has also been informed. The notice provides a company contact for additional details.
