The modern furniture retailer will join the roster of high end home design stores in the West Midtown Design District.
Design Within Reach‘s new home at 1210 Howell Mill Road will be three times the size of the current Buckhead showroom at a roomy 13,835 square feet, according to a Commercial New permit filed with City of Atlanta. Cost of construction will total to $3,000,000.
The Buckhead location at 2451 Peachtree Road will close, and the new and super-sized Design Within Reach showroom in West Midtown will replace it.
The project has broken ground as part of new construction at Westside Urban Market, where Figo Pasta once stood.
Other furniture stores in West Midtown include Savvy Snoot, Room & Board, Switch Modern, and Marty Mason Collected Home.
