Woody’s Hideaway is set to open a new location in the Bayway Village shopping center. This will be the fourth location for the Woody’s concept. Woody’s Hideaway is anticipated to open at 20801 Gulf Freeway by the end of this year.
According to the Houston Business Journal, Woody’s Hideaway will open in a 12,500 square-foot space that combines two suites in Bayway Village, not far from another Woody’s concept, Little Woodrow’s.
At the helm of the eatery is Robert Wilson, Jr. What Now Houston reached out to Wilson, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“Woody’s Hideaway is your new premier game-centric bar and game day headquarters! Kick back to watch the game, chill with old friends over cold beers, or grab a bite at this colorful local spot,” the Woody’s Hideaway website reads.
“Enjoy our many top-tier games like pool, golf simulators, darts, ping pong, corn hole, and more! Making it the ultimate destination for both gaming enthusiasts and sports fans.”
Woody’s Hideaway is described as an “eatertainment” sports concept. Woody’s Brands, the creators of Little Woodrow’s, launched the concept in Midland before expanding to Houston in 2024.
Featuring golf simulators, karaoke, and scratch kitchens, the Woody’s Hideaway concept was launched to provide a more upscale, game-focused experience.
“Woody’s Hideaway is the perfect venue to host your parties, whether you’re celebrating a Corporate Gathering, Engagement, Birthday, Graduation, or Retirement,” the website reads.
Offering a robust happy hour with $4 draft beers, $5 well spirits, and $6 house wines, Woody’s Hideaway offers a space to relax and enjoy. The eatery has an extensive menu offering small bites like loaded fries, fried pickles, and chicken bites, as well as a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and wings.
