Baja Fish Tacos, founded in 1996 by Julio A. Gutierrez, is slated to open its tenth location and second in Santa Ana, Orange County, according to a recent liquor license application. The new location will occupy the former Knowlwood space at 2107 E. 17th St., Unit A.
WhatNow reached out to the establishment for an opening date but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
According to the company’s website, Baja Fish Tacos focuses on Mexican-inspired seafood and grilled offerings, including house-made salsas, fresh produce, and signature fish preparations.
The menu includes tacos, burritos, and bowls with options such as charbroiled, blackened, or Ensenada-style preparations, served with rice and black or pinto beans. Additional offerings include battered fish, wet burritos, and soft tacos with fish, chicken, or shrimp. The brand also highlights Baja bowls and other seafood-focused items on its Instagram, where it shares ingredient-focused content.
Customers have the option to place orders online for in-store pickup. While operating hours for the new location have yet to be confirmed, existing Baja Fish Tacos locations are typically open from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.
