Rapidly expanding coffee chain Blank Street is set to open one of its largest New York City locations at 32 Sixth Ave. in Tribeca. Signs are now visible in the shop windows, on the corner of Sixth and Walker Street, according to Tribeca Citizen.
According to reports, the upcoming Tribeca outpost will occupy 2,900 square feet on the ground floor, taking over a space formerly held by Starbucks. Operating as a Blank Street Coffee & Matcha Shop, the location will feature the brand’s signature coffees alongside an menu of matcha beverages. The shop is reportedly aiming for a spring opening. What Now New York has reached out for more information.
This large-format location marks a significant step for Blank Street, which originally launched in 2020 as a mobile coffee cart in Brooklyn and has since grown to dozens of locations across the city, including an existing Tribeca shop at Church and Murray Streets.
