A spot for Cambodian cuisine is moving into the city’s north side this year.

It was reported by 614NOW that Red Sen & Asian Street Food is a new concept coming to 827 Bethel Road. It replaces Bambu Dessert and Drink which served bubble tea and juices. An opening date has not yet been announced.

From their website, the new restaurant will serve up Cambodian dishes like kuy teav, phnom penh-style noodles and nom pang sach, a crispy baguette filled with grilled meats and veggies. Dishes are prepared as homestyle cooking, with all fresh ingredients. The entrees can be accompanied by teas, fruit drinks or Vietnamese coffee.

“Our homestyle cooking brings the true flavors of Cambodia to your table, from our perfectly grilled pork rice plates to fresh spring rolls bursting with herbs and vegetables,” says the website description.

The restaurant is moving into the Olentangy Plaza, between Northwest Wine & Spirits and a UPS Store location. It will join other concepts in the plaza such as Kai’s Crab Roll and KOSHI Korean. The area is home to many Asian cuisine options, as well as Dayou Market, a popular Asian grocery store.

The owner is listed as Vongdalin Vorn, who was not available when What Now Columbus reached out for comment. Right now, the project is being teased on social media. For more updates, visit their Instagram @redsenasianstreetfood.
