April 20, often known as 4/20, has become a well-known date associated with cannabis culture. Over the past several years, major food and retail brands started to recognize the date with themed promotions and limited-time offers, commonly aimed at late-night diners and value-seeking consumers.

Fast Food Chains are Offering the Best Deals for 4/20

Multiple national chains have launched special offers related to April 20. The brands are leaning into the day’s association with indulgence and snack cravings. Here’s what food lovers and explorers can try on a budget-friendly day:

  • Shake Shack: It is offering a Buy One Get One deal for its Korean menu items through April 22. Customers can get the deal with the offer code “SPICYSWEET.”
  • Chipotle: Chipotle has brought back its Hockey Jersey BOGO as the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs are on their way. On 4/20 after 3 p.m., the brand is offering BOGO entrees to fans who visit wearing a hockey jersey.
  • Dunkin’: Dunkin’ is giving 1,000,000 free coffees starting at 9 a.m. on 4/20 with the offer “FREECOFFEE1” that can be redeemed on 4/21.
  • BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: The brand is targeting the late-night customers with a discounted pizookie offer on April 20. Customers can have any Signature Pizookie flavor for $4.20 at 9 p.m.
  • KFC: KFC is offering a one-day special deal via the app and online order. The campaign focuses on the low price and convenience. KFC fans can have a Pot Pie combo for $4.20.
  • Insomnia Cookies: Customers can get two free cookies when buying four classic cookies.
