Alpha Bedding LLC has entered bankruptcy proceedings amid financial challenges. The Lake Zurich-based company, which operates as Alpha Tekniko, plans to reorganize under Chapter 11.

Early filing details show that the company’s gross revenue experienced a substantial drop in value by over $2 million since 2024. A gap between assets and liabilities, along with obligations to more than 50 creditors, contributed to the filing.

Alpha Bedding LLC Files for Chapter 11

After around 20 years in business, the manufacturing company known for its medical mattresses and support surfaces submitted its petition on April 20, 2026. Classified as a ‘small business debtor,’ the company is proceeding under Subchapter V of Chapter 11.

Proceedings are currently taking place in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. According to PACER records, the company is represented by attorney David P. Leibowitz of the Law Offices of David P. Leibowitz LLC.

Filing Shows Declining Gross Revenue Since 2024

According to the statement of financial affairs available on RK Consultants, Alpha Bedding LLC recorded roughly $4.67 million in gross revenue in 2024. This value declined to approximately $2.67 million the next year, demonstrating a drop of more than $2 million.

As of the filing date in 2026, the company reported $405,311 in gross revenue for the year to date.

Case filings state that the company listed a little over $955,000 as total assets against liabilities of more than $2 million.

The petition also lists between 50 and 99 creditors. Court filings indicate that funds will be available for distribution to the unsecured creditors.

20 of the unsecured creditors who are not insiders have been mentioned in the petition. Some of these are Small Business Administration, CARR North America, LLC, Chemtick Coated Fabrics, Inc., and Eastex Products, LLC.

According to PacerMonitor, the company submitted several other crucial financial documents. These were a small business cash flow statement, balance sheet, and tax documents for the year 2024.
