Tampa’s Encore District will soon welcome a new combination market-plus-cafe concept into its food and drink community. It’s called Totum Market & Eatery, and according to recently submitted plan review paperwork, it’s opening at 1281 Ray Charles Blvd.
Totum Market & Eatery previously appeared in coverage by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, published last November. It was an article called “Kiran Patel’s $190M high-rise progresses in Tampa’s Encore district,” and it placed the new market and eatery on the ground floor of the high-rise in question.
What Now confirmed news of Totum Market & Eatery’s opening with a representative on Wednesday. The representative said details on Totum Market are still forthcoming, and What Now is awaiting an update with more details soon. The current target opening date is August 1.
A recent job posting on LinkedIn sheds some light on the concept:
“Totum Market and Café is a new premium neighborhood grocery and café opening in downtown Tampa. The store combines a curated grocery assortment with a design-forward café experience and will serve as the flagship location for future expansion.”
