A new food truck is preparing to hit the road in Jacksonville Beach: Billy Bones.
This week, What Now came across a plan review submitted by Melauto Sales LLC for the new food truck. The address listed in the paperwork, 1850 Emerson Street in San Marco, is that of Jax Kitchen, “Where caterers come to cook.”
Jax Kitchen is a commercial rental kitchen licensed by the Division of Hotel & Restaurants that allows renters 24-hour access to their kitchens.
What Now confirmed the news with Pavlo, owner of Billy Bones. Pavlo said the truck is about a month away from launch and will be mainly serving in Jacksonville Beach.
Pavlo was not immediately available to discuss the Billy Bones menu, saying only the fries will be served. From the name, it sounds like barbecue to us, but we’re waiting on an update with more information.
