McDonald’s, the fast food industry giant, is opening a new Miami Gardens Restaurant.

McDonald’s USA LLC, the American operating subsidiary of the fast food chain, filed permit applications with the Florid Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a restaurant at 811 NW 183rd Street. The location is centrally located between the Florida Turnpike and I-95, making it a convenient stop for hungry commuters on the go. At this time, an opening date has not been announced.

In 1940, Richard and Maurice McDonald opened a simple burger stand in San Bernardino, California. The small burger joint was successful locally, but it took entrepreneur Ray Kroc to see the potential in the operation. Today, McDonald’s is the world’s largest restaurant company. It boasts more than 40,000 locations in over 100 countries. The restaurant continues to dominate the market for its fast service, clean stores, and consistency.

McDonald’s has also grown into a global institution by incorporating local flavors and cultures into its restaurants. In many countries, the chain offers unique menu items, and observes specific dietary restrictions. Many such items can be taste tested at the company’s corporate headquarters in Chicago, Illinois where McDonald’s operates a flagship restaurant that offers a rotating menu of international items.
