A Seattle-based fashion retailer is expanding into the greater Philadelphia area this fall with two new store openings.

Nordstrom Rack, the off-price division of Nordstrom offering up to 70% off on-trend apparel, accessories, beauty products, home décor and shoes, will debut in Exton and Media.

The Exton location will be at Main Street at Exton, a shopping center with Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Sephora, Old Navy and Banana Republic. The property is owned and managed by Wolfson Group.

The director of operations for Wolfson Group said he is excited about the new addition to the center.

“The addition of Nordstrom Rack reflects our ongoing commitment to offering the community dynamic and elevated retail options. Known for exceptional value and on-trend style, Nordstrom Rack is a fantastic addition to our tenant mix, development, and the community,” David Wolfson said in a statement.

The Media location will be at The Promenade at Granite Run, a shopping center with stores including TJ Maxx, Michaels, Kohl’s and IKEA. The property is owned and managed by BET Investments.

The president of BET shares in the enthusiasm.

“Nordstrom Rack is a best-in-class tenant that will help round out the exciting tenant mix at the Promenade at Granite Run further enhancing this regional shopping center and its offerings,” Michael Markman said in a statement.

Both new stores will span 30,000 square feet and are expected to expand the company’s economic footprint in Pennsylvania. Nordstrom Rack currently operates seven locations in the state, including Pittsburgh, King of Prussia, Allentown, Lancaster, Willow Grove, Langhorne and Center City Philadelphia.

The president of Nordstrom Rack looks forward to bringing the shopping experience to both new and existing customers.

“We look forward to being a part of the Exton and Media communities and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices,” Gemma Lionello said in a statement.

Official opening dates have not yet been announced. Visit the Nordstrom Rack website and follow the company on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
