San Diego-based Harland Brewing Co. will operate the new food and beverage program at the Mission Bay Golf Course and Practice Center, bringing its brews, casual cuisine, and community-driven hospitality to the bayside public course. Aiming to open in May 2026, the Harland Clubhouse continues the momentum of the brand’s recent growth, hot off the heels of the brewery’s first full-service restaurant opening in 4S Ranch.

The Harland Clubhouse will occupy a newly built space at the course, featuring a brand-new kitchen, 2,000 square feet of indoor dining, and an adjacent outdoor patio with a large island ideal for special events, team building, corporate gatherings, golf tournaments and everything in between. Pulling from Harland’s penchant for midcentury-modern inspired aesthetics, the bright indoor-outdoor space features large accordion doors, light wood features, furniture with rounded edges and a slatted wood back bar. The outdoor patio will be furnished with shaded seating and umbrellas to keep guests comfortable in the San Diego sun.

Led by Harland’s Director of Culinary Operations, Scott Cannon, Harland Clubhouse will offer laid-back counter service and a menu of grab-and-go options, including approachable and craveable handhelds like signature smashburgers, breakfast burritos, tacos, hot dogs, deli sandwiches and much more. A standout for mornings on the green will be the Bodega Breakfast Sandwich, available alongside drip coffee. Additional beverage offerings include a long list of Harland’s award-winning beers on tap, including their signature Hazy IPA, West Coast IPA, and Japanese Lager, as well as a selection of unique, sought-after special releases and cocktail-inspired seltzers. Future plans include a Harland beverage cart that will activate on the driving range and a mobile golf cart that will serve cold drinks directly to players on the course.

“Golf and great beer go hand in hand, and we’re excited to bring a more experiential concept to guests with this new venture,” says Harland Brewing Co. President and Co-Founder Anthony Levas in a statement. “When our Chief of Staff, Naomi Marron, heard of the opportunity at Mission Bay Golf Course, we jumped at the chance. Huge thank you to the city golf division for being Harland fans, we’re honored to bring Harland’s spirit of community, creativity and great food and drink to the fairway.”

The Mission Bay Golf Course venture is a natural extension of Harland’s ethos of inspiring others to “live their lives doing what they love.” Nearly every member of the Harland team is a golfer, whether casual or competitive, and the brand has even partnered up with golf giants like TaylorMade Golf on collaborative brews like the Transfusion Sour, which stoked the fire for their team to dive deeper into the golf world.

The Harland team is proud to plant their flag at Mission Bay Golf Course, a public course welcoming an average of 700 visitors daily, making it one of San Diego’s most accessible, affordable and inclusive golf destinations. The course frequently welcomes junior competitions, aligning with Harland’s family-friendly, come-as-you-are brand of hospitality. The Harland Clubhouse aims to foster an environment perfect for everything from a casual date night, a corporate outing, a birthday party, or simply celebrating a great round with a satisfying meal and a cold one. True to Harland’s reputation for throwing memorable community-centered events, Harland Clubhouse will host live music, themed events and engaging programming throughout the year.

Aiming for a May 2026 opening, Harland Clubhouse will be open daily from 7am-10pm, mirroring the course’s operating hours. For more information, visit @harland_clubhouse and www.harlandbeer.com.
