Rising Costs Led to Restaurant Shutdown
The restaurant explained that rising costs and ongoing economic challenges have made its operation difficult.
“The short version: it’s become increasingly difficult for hotel restaurants in Los Angeles to operate sustainably,” said the team. “Rising costs, new regulations, and decisions made at the City Council level made it harder and harder to keep going. We held on as long as we could.”
Loyal fans of the restaurant shared heartfelt messages and cherished memories as the restaurant entered its final chapter. One customer commented, “Wish I could stop in for one last burger.”
With the closure of 25 Degrees at the Hollywood Roosevelt, the Los Angeles community will be losing a classic breakfast and burger joint.
