STRONG Pilatesis set to make its Houston debut this year. A recent press release from Radom Capital and Triten Real Estate Partners announced that the Australia-born pilates studio brand will join two other wellness tenants at the Houston Heights redevelopment at 621 WaverlyStreet, The Swift BLDG.
“SweatHouz, The Skin Clinic, and Strong Pilates will bring a dynamic mix of recovery, beauty, and fitness concepts to the project, further reinforcing Swift’s position as a premier destination for health-conscious living along the Heights Hike & Bike Trail,” the press release reads.
SweatHouz is planned for a Winter 2026 opening. Both the Skini Clinic and STRONG Pilates are slated for fall 2026 openings.
STRONG Pliates opened a studio in Katy in 2025 to a great reception. The new pilates studio will occupy approximately 25,000 square feet at Swift. STRONG will introduce to Houston its innovative, high-intensity, low-impact workout concept that blends Pilates with strength and cardio training.
“Houston Heights is a vibrant community that values movement and connection, and STRONG Pilates is built for exactly that,” franchisee of STRONG Pilates, Mona Hussein-Zaki, said in the press release.
“Our method blends strength, cardio, and reformer-based training into one, delivering real results in just 45 minutes. This isn’t just Pilates—it’s a new standard for fitness in Houston. And a community that sweats together stays Strong.”
What Now Houston reached out to Hussein-Zaki to try to find out more details about the upcoming opening, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
The Swift BLDG location will mark an exciting addition to the brand’s growing footprint. STRONG Pilates was founded in Melbourne, Australia, in 2019 by Michael Ramsey and Mark Armstrong. This year, the brand has rapidly expanded to more than a hundred STRONG Pilates locations across 14 countries. There are more than 150 studio locations across the United States.
What Now Houston attempted to reach out to Ramsey and Armstrong, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“Offering a varying balance between cardio, strength, and Pilates, guests will have the opportunity to explore different formats including: Strong Body, Strong Loaded and Strong Pilates-Only classes,” the press release reads.
“Expect an elevated studio environment and workout delivery by highly trained coaches.”
STRONG Pilates is anticipated to open in The Swift BLDG at 621 Waverly Street this fall.
