SweatHouz, the nation’s leading contrast therapy studio, is one of three new wellness-focused tenants joining The Swift BLDG at 621 Waverly Street. Radom Capital and Triten Real Estate Partners announced the upcoming opening in a press release this week.
“SweatHouz, The Skin Clinic, and Strong Pilates will bring a dynamic mix of recovery, beauty, and fitness concepts to the project, further reinforcing Swift’s position as a premier destination for health-conscious living along the Heights Hike & Bike Trail,” the press release reads.
Both the Skini Clinic and STRONG Pilates are slated for fall 2026 openings. SweatHouz is planned for a Winter 2026 opening.
SweatHouz will occupy approximately 1,800 square feet at Swift. The studio will offer a combination of infrared saunas, cold plunges, and guided wellness protocols aimed at optimizing performance and overall well-being.
“The Heights has always been a community that takes care of itself. It runs, it moves, it shows up. What’s been missing is recovery,” Shiraz Ghauri, franchisee of SKG Holdings, said in the press release.
“We’re proud to bring the nation’s leading contrast therapy studio to The Swift BLDG and give this neighborhood a place to do both.”
What Now Houston reached out to Ghauri to try to find out more details about the upcoming opening, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
Ghauri is the Founder and Managing Partner of SKG Capital, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy and operations across real estate and hospitality.
“With experience developing over 80,000 square feet of commercial assets, Shiraz brings deep expertise in identifying opportunities and executing with precision,” the SKG Capital website reads.
“In addition to his real estate background, Shiraz has hands-on experience in franchise operations and private equity, giving him a unique perspective on building and scaling consumer-facing businesses.”
SweatHouz was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2019 by former Orangetheory Fitness franchisee Jamie Weeks. SweatHouz is a rapidly expanding contrast therapy brand focusing on infrared sauna, cold plunge, and vitamin C shower experiences.
What Now Houston attempted to reach out to Weeks, but was unable to get hold of him. What Now also reached out to CEO Nico Varano, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
The company has continued to enlarge its footprint since its inception. SweatHouz has more than 70 operating studios across 25 states and is rapidly expanding, with plans to reach more than a hundred locations by 2026. They are opening roughly two new locations per week and have over 90 additional studios currently in development.
There are nine locations in Texas, with just one in Houston and another not far in Katy. The new location to open in the Swift BLDG will be a welcome addition to Houston’s wellness community.
“The studio will also include premium hospitality-driven amenities such as a beauty bar equipped with Dyson hot tools and a beverage station with still, sparkling, and flavored water. Guided protocols focus on athletic recovery, stress regulation, circulation, longevity, and mental reset,” the press release reads.
SweatHouz is anticipated to open in The Swift BLDG at 621 Waverly Street this winter.
