The building on the southwest corner of South Charleston Avenue and Fourth Street Southwest in Forte Meade appears to be the future home of a brand-new locally owned restaurant.

This week, What Now examined plan review paperwork submitted by Lolitas Kitchen LLC for a restaurant that would open at 400 S Charleston Avenue.

What Now reached out on Friday to Sirley Gomez, owner of Lolita’s Kitchen, to ask about plans for the new restaurant. Gomez was not immediately available for comment.

This leaves us guessing for the moment about Lolita’s Kitchen’s food offerings and projected opening timeline.

Launching in the South Charleston Avenue location, across Fourth Street from Courtney’s One Stop convenience store, Lolita’s Kitchen would be one of several restaurants located in the area. Others situated nearby include The Dugout and Domino’s Pizza.

Stay tuned for more details about Lolita’s Kitchen as they become available!
