An authentic Brazilian steakhouse is debuting in Whitehall.
Texas de Brazil will sizzle into the Lehigh Valley Mall, opening on the first floor. The restaurant joins existing dining options including Bonefish Grill, Dunderbak’s Market Café and The Cheesecake Factory, where it will be located next to, according to the mall’s website.
The steakhouse is known for its prix fixe churrasco experience featuring unlimited grilled meats, slow-roasted over an open flame. Guests are given a card they flip to green to signal they are ready to indulge in cuts of beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage, and switch to red when they want to pause.
Each table is served complimentary house-baked cheese bread, mashed potatoes and fried bananas.
Texas de Brazil also features a curated salad bar with roasted vegetables, imported cheeses, charcuterie and soups designed to complement the meal.
The steakhouse’s concept originated in Porto Alegre, Brazil, but it first debuted in Texas, which inspired its name.
The brand now operates more than 50 locations across the United States, along with several international restaurants. The Whitehall opening will mark only the second Pennsylvania location and the first in Southeastern Pennsylvania, with the state’s original outpost located in Pittsburgh.
An official opening date has not yet been announced, but Shannon Palzer, the mall’s director of marketing and business operations, told LehighValleyLive.com the steakhouse is expected to debut in spring 2027.
